Bargains and Bites

Bargains and Bites is a fully constituted Clackmannan Community initiative which is staffed by local volunteers and delivers a much needed community resource. The group, which meets in the Clackmannan Town Hall, aims to:

Provide an opportunity for members of the community to:

  • meet together and enjoy something to eat and drink;
  • purchase good quality second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac and other items which may become available, at reasonable prices;
  • provide an opportunity for members of the community to enjoy healthier eating by offering goods and services;
  • offer any other facility which the group feels will benefit the local community;
  • raise funds for charitable organisations or worthy causes.

As a voluntary organisation we are solely dependent on local volunteers and we would be grateful for any assistance. To enquire about these opportunities please come along to Bargains and Bites on any Friday that we are open and speak to one of our volunteers. Alternatively, contact us through our contacts page on this website.

All money raised by, or on behalf of, Bargains and Bites can only be used to further the aims of the Association and the disbursement of any surplus funds raised are awarded to much needed local community groups and other worthy causes. To see which local community groups who have benefitted from Bargains and Bites proceeds take a look at our Beneficiaries page.

Donations of good clean clothing are welcome and these can be handed in to Clackmannan Town Hall on a Friday before 2:00 pm.
